Nessa is a qualified psychotherapist & supervisor located in Dublin City Center.

Over the past 12 years Nessa trained and worked in numerous clinical settings such as: Adult & adolescent psychiatry (training placements), Barnardos’ Post Adoption Service with adopted adults, The CARI Foundation with survivors of child sexual abuse (children & adolescents), Dublin based schools with young people from deprived socioeconomic areas, Teen-Between, and private practice.

She provides counselling & psychotherapy for adopted adults, adopted children & adolescents, adoptive parents, and natural mothers.

Nessa worked as a volunteer counsellor for Barnardos Post Adoption Service (2010/2011) seeing adopted adults for individual counselling sessions. She also assisted the project leader in parent training and support groups for adult adoptees. In 2013 Nessa wanted to deepen her understanding of adoption and wrote her MSc dissertation on that topic: Developing a sense of self as an adopted person: A psychoanalytic approach (Muller, 2013). Nessa provides a professional and safe space for people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

Her primary aim is to ensure a strictly confidential environment for all her clients where delicate questions can be asked and complex emotions, thoughts, feelings and anxieties can be explored, understood and helped with.

A therapy session is 50 minutes long. The fee is 75 Euros.
